Electrical work splits into two kinds of jobs. Service calls are short: a dead circuit, a tripping breaker, a fixture that flickers. Project work runs longer: a panel upgrade, an EV charger, a remodel rough-in that needs an inspection before the walls close.
Either way the office books the visit, the electrician confirms the scope on site and a quote goes out for anything beyond the first hour. On a project, the crew might be at the same address for three days, and the inspector's notes matter as much as the invoice.
Shops with apprentices also need everyone to see the job details. Paying for a seat per helper adds up quickly.

Can I keep panel details and permit paperwork?
Use Customer Equipment for unit details and Documents & Photos for supported attachments to a customer or job. Each is an optional plug-in. Dedicated permit tracking and compliance reporting are not available to new accounts.
Are field time tracking and financing included?
No. Time tracking, payroll exports, and customer financing are not currently offered to new accounts. Scheduling and team assignments are included in the core CRM.
Is ToolbagCRM cheaper than Jobber?
It depends on the package, team size, plug-ins, and payment volume. Compare the published prices or vendor quote against Free or the $150/month Founders base plan, plus any Free-plan plug-in slots, add-ons, and processing fees.
Does ToolbagCRM do everything Jobber does?
No. Compare specific workflows before switching. ToolbagCRM provides core customers, jobs, scheduling, quotes, invoices, and payments, with optional active plug-ins. QuickBooks sync, recurring service plans, GPS, and two-way SMS conversations are not current capabilities.
